Would like any comments/critique on this wedding photo. Taken Saturday on our trip to Florida.

Thanks

It has kind of a "dreamy quality" to it. I like the image in general and I like how she looks, but the guy's face is too orange. (oops, I better qualify that ... I'm using non-calibrated monitor at the moment!)

It's a nice shot. They appear to be looking in two different directions though. Was there more than one person shooting?

I agree with dwterry and Kelli, if you have an image where they're both looking at you it would be a better shot to retouch. Otherwise, I might take it a little easy on the softening of the two people. The dreamy background is nice, but the people start to look a little too retouched. Just my personal opinion though, I know plenty of people who really soften wedding shots.

I think this is a very nice photo...was wondering how you get the soft dreamy look to it though?

I would try it in BW. For wedding photos, I usually get better results w/ soft focus effect in BW. Another adjustment is to reduce the saturation.

Were they looking in different directions on purpose?

I would like to see this image w/o the soft effect. The bokeh between the couple/gazebo and the background looks very nice. I would venture a bet that this photo would look best sharp.

I bet they will love it if they like this kind of dreamy look. Soft focus is hit or miss. I have had people tell me that the soft focus is their favorite and others just cringe.

I think the comments above say it all.
I agree with them, the colour looks a bit too saturated so desaturation would solve that as suggested.
Please remember its all about opinions and dont get upset about what some maty think, but there are far more positives in your Photo than negatives.

Cheers.
