Anyone know what the above error means? I get it every time I turn my camera on.

| I think that error 2 has to do with a memory card error or the camera is having a problem with the memory card. Try a different memory card and see if that helps..GL! |

| Ditto the memory card thing - I only got the error one time and it was after putting in a new card. Tried a different card, no error. Replaced card that gave error, haven't had the error since. |

Thanks guys. I'll try reformatting the card and see if that helps. Failing that, I'll try a new card.
Complicating things slightly is that the card reader on my desktop PC is not working at all.
Thanks again,
~Terry

Good morning Terri... I do hope you managed to solve your problem. A Google of Canon 10D 02 err revealed that it is in all probability the card that is the problem as others have already mentioned.
You might consider purchasing a 40d and see if the card works in that one, and if not buy the camera and a new card... and voila problem fixed :O)
