Kosta, I have done the same thing. I went through a lot of my photos and took pictures of them. And saved them on cd. You did an excellent job on yours.

I usually use a scanner for this, unless the picture is in a frame. You can get much a higher resolution, and it will be flat.

I have much better results with Oly5050 "CCD" scanner than the regular one..

Great, great idea.

About 12 years ago, when I was at a family reunion in Salzburg, Austria (where my mom was born), I video taped every photo albumn everyone brought -- and tried to document them there.

But this is a much better way to preserve what I have...
