Seem to lean down slightly to the right??
Everything looks level in the viewfinder, and then when I upload them they tilt slightly to the right?
Anyone else have this problem??
My only guess is that when I depress the shutter, maybe im tilting the camera a hair--
I have tested camera sitting on a level surface and everything came out prefectly level.. |

Mine normally tilt down on the left. :) Only good answer... tripod.

I have that problem too. The 5D has interchangable focusng screens, I bought an E (grid) screen for it. Helped a lot.
You can also try opening both eyes when shooting sometimes. That helps me match the camera to the world. |

I never had this problem with any camera or lens until I started using my Tamron 28-75mm. I thought I was going a bit crazy (still a possibilty) because the first few days I used it everthing was slightly low to the left.
I notice that if I pay particular attention to the focus points as a guide I can get a level shot. If I frame it quickly to what feels natural it's off every time.
I haven't used my Canon 70-200 enough to notice it yet so I haven't really confirmed whether its the lens, body or me but I know it became more pronounced when I started using the 28-75 |

| I think the new Nikon has a "digital horizon" that helps compose shots. great idea. |

That'd be my guess, since they all tilt to the right. Try some test shots on a tripod, and see if the same thing happens. If not, you just need to soften your touch a hair. |

| I tend to shoot a consistent 3 degrees to the right. I think part of it is that I am lazy with how I hold my arm, and if I am shooting a lot, it gets tired and sags a bit. |

I have more issues with rotation on portrait oriented shots. Normally a tad clockwise.

Many of the existing Nikons (like my D70s) have an LCD grid in the viewfinder that you can turn on/off via the menus. I turn mine on anytime I'm doing architectural or landscape shots. It has been very helpful. |
