I need to print two pictures to put in a locket. They need to print 1 1/2 by 3/4 inches. How would I do this? My printer is out of ink and I am going to send them to Walmart. I was thinking of pasting them both on one white 4X6 file in photoshop and then printing them that way but how would I know they are the right size?

I would create an empty file at 4x6 inches, then fill it with the photo at various sizes close to what you think you need. Some smaller, some bigger, all different. You should be able to fit quite a few of them into that 4x6, and one is sure to turn out the right size.

I've done it like this as well - I created an blank image of the size that the printer would handle, then I inserted the image and sized it to what I needed for the locket. I also added a size or two larger and smaller for any error.

I would also recommend that you put more than one of the same size on the page - my locket was very small and an annoying shape - it took me a couple of goes to get the cut right

Thank you Thank you Thank You!!!!!

I put about 5 different ones on one 4X6 sheet. I sent it to Walmart to be printed. I know one of them will work. That was such a great idea to put them all together.

I also didn't know you could set a new photoshop image by size. I always thought it was by pixels only.

You learn something new everyday. :)

Thanks again
