Now just give us another day like today!

Both I'd imagine. Your 18-200 should be adequate for most everything, & I'll have all my gear along. Assuming I get a new bag to fit the 80-200 in.

Yep, today was perfection defined. Gorgeous weather and a Packer win to boot! 3 and 0, I love the sound of that!
O wait, is someone here a Bears fan?? ;-)

No kidding, I was in Sheboygan last night, & we drove home today. The leaves by Lake Michigan are turning, but the farther inland we got the less color there was. After the Packer game I went & hiked on the east side of the marsh. Just an amazing amount of birds out there. I'm getting psyched for the GTG.

Present!

My fantasy team already sealed up the victory for today so I can sit back and watch the Bears kick Cowboy tail in peace tonight. (If I can stop yelling at the TV)

Hmmm, another badger! Yes, Jacob, join us. Oct 7th at Ironworker's house, 5:15 am (directions above). It's an interesting group of people.

And did I mention:

BREAKFAST!

Oh yea! I forgot about that John. FREE BREAKFAST! Now that's tempting.

What time and where would that be? I doubt I'd show at 5:15am. I'm thinking that's about a 2 hr drive at least.

Hard to predict the timing for sure. Sunrise is about 7:00, we'll probably shoot for awhile after sunrise and then head back for breakfast. Maybe around 8 am??

BTW, I just noticed while looking up the sunrise time that there's a beautiful pairing of the 12% crescent moon, Saturn and Venus (all within just 4 degrees of sky) in the predawn sky. Interestinger and interestinger.

Dave, From our house to Dubuque is 3 hours, maybe a bit less with it being 4 lane all the way now.

All this talk about breakfast is making me hungry.

Colin I will get to your house around 5:30 unless the plans change before then.

Are you going to have some lights on outside? Finding a green house in the dark could be tricky otherwise.

So if I come in on 33 I should turn left at the lights and go past John Deer?

As for that contact list. I am not sure where I put the handwritten one I had hopefully someone saved the email I sent out last time? I will continue to look for it.

John, Bear Fan ? wow all I can say is Go Rex. lol At least your taste in College Teams is good. haha

How about those Packers? Holy Crap. Favre still has some rabbits in his hat.

I knew they would be better this year, But I wasn't expecting them to be as strong as they are on all sides of the ball especially the D. Going to be one of those seasons to remember I think.

Before I change the subject. How about those Vikings, lol. Poor fools not only are they having another bad start to a bad season but next week the Minny Fans have to watch Brett Favre Break the TD record in the Tuna Can, lol Favres biggest haters are up there, Kind of like rubbing salt in the wound. hahahaha Life is Grand!!!!

Dave, It isn't too cold to camp up here. Should be a few campgrounds that stay open til end of October so you would probably find a place to stay if you don't want to make the long drive twice in one day.

This one is easy for me. Next to Colin I have the shortest drive. about 30 minutes.

Hope the weather is good.

But I will be defiently be looking forward to meeting up once again if I do get the chance.

Bugzeye, I will have my front porch light on, & my accent lights will be on too. Other landmarks I have a fence in front, & a 7' high retaining wall across the front too. As well as a pink truck parked in front.

Ok I am going to print off the directions you posted and will probably rely on gps as a backup.

On a side note. Saturday 29th my wife has a course to attend in Madison with a few of her workmates, The morning will consist of me and 5 gabby women in my van til I drop them off downtown. The rest of the day will consist of me taking pictures in Madison, The part I look forward to most is the pre-game festivities at the Camp. Should make for some fun photos. Wondering if anyone is interested in meeting up during the day? I will be around from 8:30 til arpox 4PM I plan on spending a good deal of that time in the downtown area, Starting with the Farmer Market, Capital and State Street, After that I might hop back in car and take a drive around one of the lakes maybe hit the zoo for a few shots and then meet my wife for lunch, at that little greek cafe on state street, 'gyro cravings' after that I am going to head towards the stadium and take photos til the game starts. after that I will probaly do some more roaming around downtown and get some more shots with the sun on the other side of the sky. Let me know.

otherwise see ya all next week.
