Thanks Sky for the white paper, it's like the old Reader's Digest condensed version of novels that I would do book reports of. Cliff Notes? |

Make sure you are not in Highlight Priority Mode (HPM). If you are, you will not be able to set it lower than ISO 200. With HPM turned off, you can dial the ISO down to 100, 125, 160, etc.

Picked it up last night. Haven't had much time to use it. I took a few at work for work but haven't had look at them except on the large and lovely LCD. I think I got lucky because the wife thinks it's a little large so she will stick with the 20D when we do a 2 camera shoot. Otherwise she will stick with her P&S.

I just went to Circuit City. It was $1499 and came with the 28-135, so now I have two 28-135s. Everyone online was out or saying in stock and would be shipped when they receive them. So I drove to Longview, Tx since the Shreveport store was out of stock. The Camera Area manager waited on me and as we were finishing up I just politely asked if he was going to throw in a 2Gig card, lo and behold he did for free!

I got some cheap screen protectors for mine. |
Nose grease is not an issue for me. I have found that a left eyed shooter puts their nose to the right of the LCD. No nose grease! |

I don't find nose grease a problem, but when I shoot in 'Manual' (which is most of the time), I use my left eye at the viewfinder and often find my nose presses the mirror-up button (centre of the backplate wheel). Most annoying when everything goes black!
