So do you all remember when the big thing went down about me getting a BMW and how insurance will be through the roof.... well I got the car(its amazing by the way I love it so much) and I just insured it tonight....
and with 2 million Liability, Comprehensive, and Collision it came to $1710 for the whole year.
alotttt less than what everyone was trying to tell me it would be :P
so moral of the story.. Come and move to BC if you want good, cheap insurance.

Alotttt more than what I pay for full coverage on 2 vehicles and a 30' 5th wheel. :-P

but think about this logically... I have zero driving experience, this is my first car.
your 42(at least thats what your profile says) lets say you have 25 years driving experience with no faults.
Where I live that would give you 43% discount on the base price(which for me is $1710) which would make it $974.70.

| My car insurance has just kicked in, having passed my test a couple of weeks ago and taken over my parents' car. Very expensive indeed, but I've just done a 'pass plus' course, and my insurers are knocking £300 ($600) off the price! |
