For the North Carolina Mountain State Fair (not to be confused with the statewide state fair held in Raleigh in October), I decided to enter some pictures in the photography contest. (Imagine that) Because of the convuluted definition of professional, I had to go to that class rather than amateur.
Despite that
This one and
This one both won blue ribbons in their respective classes.
This shot won a red ribbon (2nd place) and
This one earned a white (3rd).
My "Looking Glass Falls" and "Running Water" shots did not place. :-(, but oh well. Life goes on.
