Canon Captures Catalina
Anyone making plans to go? I would like to go on Saturday the 29th, Newport is the closest but I could leave from any of the terminals. |

The weather looks great for Saturday. I am looking forward to going this weekend. This is my first trip of a Canon sponsored event and it sounds fun. They are supposed to be providing free equipment rentals of their cameras and lens. The local Avalon newspaper is sponsoring a contest for best picture.
If this goes well I may consider Death Valley later this year.

I was just there a few weeks ago. It would be great if they didn't only go to Avalon. If they made a little side trip to he isthmus or the back side of the island, that would be cool.
