For those in need of this lens... Walmart has (probably) made an error, and placed this lens on at $249 US.
The IS version

Now, logic would say that they REALLY are trying to sell the much cheaper 75-300 Canon lens, but then the specs listed match the more expensive one. Apparently they have run out of these, then had more, then run out again, so I will be continually checking back.

This does seem like an error, but both the photo and the description are of the IS lens. Hmmm, I think I'll be checking back as well!
