Well I did it, I just purchased the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS
Now the waiting game until it arrives. I can't wait for next week.

the only one around here is ritz - and as far as i can tell they never have anything in stock, and always want more than it's worth.
so basically they will price match any other local place that also doesn't stock anything, but not an internet price. then they say they'll go ahead and order one for me. go figure. that means i have to go to the store twice -vs having a nice surprise on my front porch when i get home from work without having to deal with any human sales person...

OH OH OH im playing the waiting game too!
i got 2 alien bees lights an umbrella a softbox stands and stuff a remote trigger for my camera and wireless flash system and a new reflector and a polarizer filter for one of my lenses....i want my stuff dangit...stupid shipping time |

| Unfortunately we donĂ¢€™t have a retail store around here the closest one is in Denver which is a 4 hour drive one way. We have to order anything slr camera related online. ;-) |
