		| Too bad we couldn't find a way to make it mandatory to calibrate your monitor before voting. Im looking at my entry from my work computer and i would vote it a 4. What a difference... |

		| It seems this challenge will have a very low score, both overal average and even winners, although these with high scores might not been posting here. |

Let put it this way, if many people think my photo sucks, it sucks for sure. 5 or 10 votes won't make huge difference in score. So if you are saying than 80 out of 100 voters didn't adjust their monitor brightness and contrast to see all 29 grey shades at the bottom of the screen, then that's too bad because there are high score entries being voted high with non-calibrated monitor.

No offense but it really piss me off when someone is accusing voters not having their monitor calibrated accountable for his/her entry's low score.

Mellow out buddy. Know what really pisses me off, is when people put words in my mouth while ranting.
 1. never said my score was doing poorly, I said I looked at my photo from work and I wouldn't vote it over a 4. For the record it is sitting at about a 5.7.
 2. Never said 80 out of 100 didn't have calibrated monitors.

My point was that people are really missing out by not having their monitors calibrated correctly. You should be able to see all the boxes and you should use software to do it. It makes a world of difference. I would guess you probably don't use software to calibrate and believe that your eye is good enough to do it without assistance.

I also don't really care what my score does. i know my monitor is correct and that my images for customers are correct. To me thats what really matters.

If everyone calibrated using spyder or something similar everyone would be much happier that what they see on their screen is what everyone else sees and prints would be better too. |

timfythetoo : I think you are very much of a contender for a ribbon, judging by the low scores in this challenge.
