My girlfriend bought tickets for the 29th of September. I currently have a 20d w/18-55,70-300,and a 10/22. Anything I should think about before i go lens wise? |

If you ride the Maid of the Mist, make sure you have something to protect the camera. You will get wet! |

In my opinion you don't even need the telephoto. I go there all the time and I can't remember ever using mine. A wide angle will be perfect.

Even if you just decide to take the tour behind the falls, protect your camera.

Which side of the falls? US or Canada? The best side for viewing is the Canada side.
There is always a mist around the falls.
Night time is a beautiful time with the constantly changing lights.
Your 10/22 and 18/55 will be your best bet.

Ok awesome, I'll be on the Canadian side of the falls, which i heard was much better than the american side. i dont know if i'll bring my camera on the maid of the mist cause it did look pretty wet. I'll def keep the nightshots in my mind, looks like it would be a great photo opportunity. |

Niagara Falls is beutiful at night, here is one of the photos I took last time we were there... Not the biggest or the greatest but you will get an idea for it.

Also there are some great things to do over on the Canadian side, make sure you check out the mueseums and shops.
