I seriously can't find this anywhere: what is the ratio of a wallet sized print? I'm getting some prints at a local shot and it keeps wanting to crop my 1.5/1 or 1.25/1. Help!

I don't think there's any real standard size -- why not ask the place you're having them printed?

Several online print houses print them at 2.5x3.5". But I have seen differnt sizes at Costco and Longs for example. It may depend on whether they are trying to print to and 8x10 sheet or some other size. Good luck.

Back many years ago, when I worked in a camera store we offered two sizes of wallets; either a 3.5 x 2.5 or 3 x 4 (inches)- the smaller was the most common.

I've found 2.25" x 3.5" to be a good size for them.

2.5x3.5 finally worked without cropping. I tried to call the store but the dim witted clerk didn't know and there was nobody there he could ask. I'm using this store because their prices are the most reasonable and the kid I'm doing the shoot for can't really afford anything but insists on paying my costs.

Thanks everyone!

I was thinking that they probably gang-up four copies on a 5x7 print. You can do the same yourself and eliminate the guesswork -- or use the 2x3 size 4-up on a 4x6 print. You can also print three 2x3.5 "business cards" on a 4x6 print.
