How about we take any challenge and not allow a title to be listed for the photo during voting? This would work better for some challenges than others of course. It would force people to meet challenge descriptions and not allow a DNMC photo from relying on it's title.

Disqualification for any photo that uses a descriptive, or storytelling title. "." or "no title" etc. would be fine.

Just hitting the spacebar works for a title too :)

I think that causes problems for the database. :-(

In any challenge with a topic, that topic is "automatically" the appropriate title for the work. Only a free study could have an entry justifiably called "Untitled."

Dunno, saw it mentioned ages ago, and my daughter used it once with no visible problems. If it does, I'll remember not to use it.
I definitely like the main idea though :)

I'm fine with the title of the challenge being the only title allowed. Just so long as there is nothing to stretch what the photo is into the challenge.
