I was wondering if I could get some constructive criticism on these. I took them of my friend's sister who needed them for first year at college. I did them for free, had a lot of fun, and she likes them, I was pretty happy, but since this is pretty much the first headshots I've taken, what could i have done differently? Better?
These were all shot with natural light. I had a reflector with me, but it was much to windy to use it, as you can see with her hair in a lot of these.
Anyway, thanks so much!

Left ya a couple comments. Nice job! :) See if you can snag a friend or family member next time, call them your "assistant" and have them work the reflector for you. |

Looking at your lens line-up, Im guessing these were all took with the 70-200 F4/L-- Am I right?
It performed well if Im correct, its a good portait port lens-- and these shots look good-- |

Thanks for the comments. I'll warm that up. I can see what you're saying. I didn't notice it before, so thanks!

Thank you. A few of them may have been taken with the 70-200mm f/4, but the majority were taken with the 50mm 1.8. Those were the only two lenses I used, and I used the 50mm much more than the 70-200mm. |

No problem. :) From the background of the photo it looks like it was pretty green area so maybe that had something to do with it. Not sure what editing software you use, but a warm photofilter in CS2 would probably do the trick nicely.
Those are also my two favorite lenses to shoot with (although my only other option is the kit lens) Hopefully, one day, an 85mm will make it's way into my bag. :)
Edited to add the conversion on the B&W one is really nice.
