well, so far i've made a page with adobe go live. saved it as a template. tried emailing it with express, and it came up with nuttin. sooo. i dunno...
will i have to publish it on a web site for it to work?

No. That's not how it's done. Except the images. Those should be on a web site, I think. |

Jeffrey, you jinxed me with your comment on my bee shot (my new personal best from Bokeh) :)
Here's a comment on my "closing" shot (paraphrased to avoid current challenge conflict rule thingies):
"I don't know what this is."

Hey, anytime I can help, let me know. ;) I also left you a comment on your motivational poster, even though it pretty much just reflects what purple and patio said.
Christian: you can look into blogging. Many free services will let you set up auto-emails or RSS feeds. Or Yahoo! groups. Or just keep an email list in Outlook, as someone else suggested.

Hey, have any of you ever seen a meadow mouse or a jitterbug skimming accross the water? Or perhaps a nice tasty little lepoard frog with yummy dangling legs hanging off the side of a lilly pad? (they are tasty once you get past the slime)
Sometimes I do like to heat worms up in my mouth before they hit the water... then when they hit the water, the shock of the cold makes them squirm more.
Occasionally it is really sexy to swim with the frogs in my lime green speedo until the suckers start to hurt, if you know what I mean. ;)
Let me know if any of you like these things...or am I alone? Should I seek help? Or become a bait salesman?

Here's a little something to hopefully make you worry less.
Regardless of where you stand on the issue of the U.S. involvement in
Iraq, here's a sobering statistic:
There has been a monthly average of 160,000 troops in the Iraqi
theatre of operations during the last 22 months, and a total of 2,112
deaths. That gives a firearm death rate of 60 per 100,000 soldiers.
The firearm death rate in Washington D.C. is 80.6 per 100,000
persons for the same period.
That means that you are about 25% more likely to be shot and killed
in the U.S. Capital than you are in Iraq.
Conclusion: The U.S. should pull out of Washington.
Scary, huh?

All the teams seem sufficient active, so we can leave it to  basssman7 to choose. Pictures of users in green speedos would be fine, except I'm fairly certain people would not choose me to represent Team Minus. |

So I suppose this would be a good time to ask what the actual teams do? When are the Team Suck side challenges? Do the Team Suck teams also compete as a team in the DPL?
I do not really care if I am on a winning team....but I really want to be on a fun team. |

Jeb, interesting statistic, but only a smallish percentage of deaths in Iraq are due to small arms fire. The vast majority are due to explosions from roadside mines, mortars, and rockets. Pretty sure those aren't quite so common in DC.
There was a rocket here on 9/11 - you may have read about it, or not, depending on the exploits of politicians and starlets, which of course take precedence. A non-US employee was killed and a US soldier lost her foot. My friend who works here now has a very expensive piece of art to hang on his wall when he gets home.
 
Welcome to Team Suck, basssman7! No side challenges - just enter the regular old DPC challenges. There are Suckers on DPL teams, and in fact one DPL team made entirely of Suckers that won their league, which indicates suckage is a state of mind more than anything else.

About the only purpose of TS teams is that the highest-scoring team each week gets the privelege of voting for that week's OOBie award for an out-of-the-box award. Other than that, we're all just one big community.
The Out of Focusers happen to be a DPL team composed of all TS members, but various of us are on other DPL teams, too. There's no private TS thread like there are for DPL teams, we don't share photos before challenges on a regular basis or discuss editing for challenge entries, etc. Sometimes, though, people will ask for help and anyone who helps out agrees not to vote on it.
