| My experience (for what it's worth) is that the average stabilizes from about 70 votes onward. At lower numbers of votes, almost anything can happen. |

| I don't have a lot of experience with a high scores, but in early voting (say less than 50 votes) even a vote or two of 5 (good solid image) will bring your score tumbling down... |

I have clawed and scratch my way to a 5.5- It has been one tough ride. Lots of good comments and I don't care anymore-ready for it to be done. Btw-
Do you guys vote lower on images that have been done by other people. There are several on here that are direct copies of current images on Getty images. I skip them- Just curious how you guys vote on copy cats.

I have never heard of getty images...
I think it is important to vote on the images on their own merits. I think it is important to try and consider the images in the challenge on their own merits..is it well taken, does it meet the challenge (as you interpret it), and is it either imaginative or well constructed and interesting.

Getty images is the top Stock photography company and they have amazing photographers on there site. Mostly commerical stuff but there is some creative imagery. Yes, a couple of the images are pretty close- I don't really care- The image is still great- I just was curious how important orginality was to you guys in voting.
