There is a saying that art is never truly finished, it is abandoned.

To a degree, it is true. In this journey to improve on photography skills it takes time, patience, and desire to seek knowledge on how to improve and then apply it.

Back in Feb/March of 2004 a fellow poet, Euphoria (Kit Lange) wrote in her journal - "Even Flowers Grow On Rocks". That saying struck a strong emotional cord with me. I set out to capture that sentiment and inspirational saying but was never really happy because the photo had so many technical and compositional flaws with it

Even Flowers Grow On Rocks

I have always wanted to go back and do a better job in capturing the spirit of that inspirational saying. I think that I have finally done so.

Do you have any Then & Now photo concepts that you were never quite happy with and went back and redid them later? If so, please share.
