Why would you respect them? What have they done lately? Also Chicago is known for having one of the top 3 defense's in football. What is Seattle's strong point behind a questionable running back who is off and on and a quarterback who is always injured and not consistent. Don't worry the NFC sucks so they have a chance

.....said the guy from arizona....
What have they done lately? hmmm 3 division champs in a row maybe...if it sucks so bad why havent the cards done it?
Its all right doc, people here have griped about respect for a long time, i could care less as long as they have winning seasons, something alot of other teams (arizona) can't claim

Do you need hook on phonics? Where in the world did i ever say cardinals are great? 3 division champions in a row equals nothing. Football is about the Superbowl! Winning seaons mean nothing unless you win the superbowl. Why do you think the coach of the chargers was fired? Only lost 2 games and didn't win the superbowl. Who cares what alexander did 2 years ago. Its about what have you done for me lately. This topic is about respect and thats why the seahwaks don't deserve it. Can't win the big game!

i am sure you would think differently if the cards had done what the hawks had the last 5 yrs and for the record i could care less what the rest of the country thinks of the hawks, thats what being a fan is all about.
and if its all about superbowls then i guess we better yank guys like Earl Campbell, Eric Dickerson,Dan Marino and Barry Sanders out of the hall fame because THEY certainly deserve no respect

First sorry about the hooked on phonics statement, thats was rude of me and i just meant it as a sarcastic joke.
If the cardinals had seasons like the Seahawks did the previous 5 years, then i would think they are bigger losers because they couldn't amount to anything after winning their division. Cardinals you know are losers and can expect it. The seahwaks give you false hope. Comparing the Seahwaks to hall of fame players is totally different. Those players earned the respect and were great year after year. The Seahawks were never great. They are just an above avaerage team playing in the weak NFC. Put them in the AFC and watch their record shrink to below average. Look at the braves in baseball and how they won 10 or more baseball division titles, but never won the world series. I bet they would give them up for a world series and nobody looks at them as a great team because they couldn't finish. Who strives for second place?

lol i dont take offense that easily, but what your saying could easily apply to guys like walter jones and yes even shaun alexander, they play great every year, ask any team and they would gladly have jones on the left, he is bound for canton without a doubt, i wont say alexander is a shoe in for the hall but a few more years like the ones hes had and you can make a strong case for it.
also what you said about the players i mentioned is contradicting yourself, you first said that football is all about the superbowls, but then you say those players earned the respect. you cant have it both ways.

Doc, you nailed it! But actually it's our secret weapon. Don't spread it around ... loose lips sink ships!

I'm thinking 14 and 2 this season. For a change, everyone's healthy.

Where was Dieon Branch? I started him on one of my fantasy teams. Huh? Answer me that. Where was Dieon??

All in good time, grasshopper.

It's part of the secret weapon thing ... that's going to be my answer to all queries, btw.

Yeah! I second the Dion Branch egg laying comment! totally screwed me on my team last weekend b/c I sat Moss for him! For the record the Braves won in 1995, toward the beginning of their run in division dominence. You can be a great player who earns respect but plays on a team that deserves no respect. Barry Sanders and the Detriot Lions are proof of that among others. The Hawks fans have a lot to be proud of, their team has been consistently good for the last few years and even made a Bowl apperance. Unfortunatly the AFC demands much more respect than the NFC, so unless the NFC can turn the trend around expect to be second best. Look on the bright side, at least the Pats didn't win again.

Fantasy shmantesy ... I live in the real world. Real blood, real guts, real courage ... where reality matters ... everything else is just pixels and code.

Not that there's anything wrong with pixals and code, you understand!

I gotta admit i was pretty pumped when they picked up branch, but so far it has not payed dividends. I am hoping him and matt click this year but one game, especially the first game is way to early to tell.

When did the Ravens start playing in D.C. and the Redskins in southern Delaware?

Yeah, now that you mention it: the Vikings in central MN, the Broncos in Sterling?
