Hello,
I just signed up today, I can not find the EXIF info for my pics. I have gone to the FAQs and read all that info. I have downloaded PIE 3.2 and ACDsee 4.0 Neither one gives me any of the exposure information.
I am using a Sony Mavica FD73. Is this a quirck of my camera or am I not doing something right?

I did take some test pictures without any editing.

Any help or advice would be aprreciated.

Thanks!

In ACDSee, if you right click the file during list or thumbnail mode and selec the "Properties" menu option ... is there a metadata tab?

And if so, does it list any information?

Yes, I clicked on Properties and there is metadata but it is blank, no info at all.

If I rightclick on the picture, and then click on properties I can see the following info:
type of file
size
date created
Format
Height
Width
colors
file size

nothing that says anything about exposure or any of that info

In PIE, the area comes up where the Exposure info should be, but all of the lines are blank and it says "No Exposure Information"

Strange -- I figured Sony cameras would have EXIF data. Although I just re-read your post and noticed you said Mavica FD73 was the model. This is a few years old now, is it not?

That might be the problem.

If you don't have EXIF data on your camera, just don't fill out the 3 fields. They're optional.

Yes this Mavica is now discontinued. I think the model is probably about 2-3 years old, maybe even more.

I'm off to photograph something "RED"!

Thanks for the response!

Some older models do not record EXIF data.
