If I wanted to create a "set" for my photo, which involved some hand drawn elements, then put my subject material in on the "set" and still took a single photo from that.

When I say hand drawn too, I mean hand drawn on paper, not in Photoshop.

Thoughts?

If you are hand-drawing on a piece of paper, and your photo incorporates that piece of paper, then that should be fine under any ruleset. Your hand-drawn paper becomes a photo prop, just like any other element of your photo.

It's only really Photoshop editing steps that are restricted by the rule-set. Combining multiple photos, or moving photo elements around and creating a new photo in software is where it gets tricky, and that sort of stuff is generally only allowed in expert editing. But yes, if in doubt, contacting the site council directly is the definitive answer.

Exactly. As long as your setup also includes real objects and not just a shot of your drawing on its own. Otherwise you'll fall foul of the artwork rule.
