it was the Bride & Groom from heaven!!

Had an amazing day yesterday, for only the 2nd time this year a B+G who were more than happy to pose for as long as it took to get the best shots. Even the candid stuff was superb, I just had the most amazing days work ever.

This shot for example, I usually get the B+G to walk down a path/field so I can get some nice compressed shots with a long lens/narrow DOF, however yesterday the groom just jumped at the moment I hit the shutter and this was the result. Not planned, not rehersed, just a very cool move at exactly the right time :-)

Why cant all B+Gs be like this..

Got hundreds of other shots, but you know how it is when getting back from the shoot, you just wanna tear thru the RAWs to see what you have got.

Anyone who's looking at these are probably wondering 'why can't all wedding photographers be like this?' Really super shots.

Mark - you are right. The B&G really knew how to make these shots look good.

Apparently, the groom is in love and is an admirer of Doc Achoo's work:

Is that cool or what?

Great shots, friend.

Spectacular shots! I'm guessing you weren't even halfway through the wedding and you were dying to get to the computer to see what you had.

I was thinking earlier would of been great for the Deja-vu challenge. Pity the bride spoilt it by being in the shot :-) (and it was shot 2 days before the challenge was announced)

Thanks for the comments everyone!

It wouldn't have been too hard to clone her out of that shot. ;-)

This might be my second-favorite wedding shot I've seen here, right behind the hummingbird sampling the groom's boutonniere ... I'm trying to remember if there isn't a Charlie Chaplin movie which ends with a similar tableau.

Very nice shots, but you cut their heads off in that one LOL. I know it's arty and i like those shots, but I just can't make myself do it!

Grrrrrrrrr!

Seriously, the heads were supposed to be cut off. :) I always try to get the bride to hold the bouquet straight down with a relaxed arm, its gives a sexy, sassy feel to the shot.

a couple more..

I like them, natural and fun. What life is all about!

Plus the background helps a lot :))
