This photo was in the Fill the Frame challenge which recently ended. I rather liked the photo, but the score was much lower than I thought it would be. I'm fine with the score, but want to know where I went wrong. Thanks!

| I dont know. It's interesting but not mind blowing. Maybe it misses a main point of interest. The thumbnail is not attractive whereas the full photo looks good. Maybe it didn't get the views that it deserved from the average scorer due to the thumbnail. |

| I agree ... maybe some didn't open it because the thumb looks like a medical book skin disease snap. |

| Left ya a comment. I think the ick factor may have reduced your score significantly. DPC voters tend to like pretty and punish things that aren't pretty. |

Haha... The funny thing is I wasn't going for the ick factor. Oh well. I'm thinking it's because I knew what the materials were, and the voters didn't, and I was also aiming more for it to be a study in texture. Thanks for the comments everyone! |

| When i first saw this i thought it was bad acne, or some kind of skin condition. I think this may have put some people off the higher votes for it. DPC likes pretty stuff. If it was rose petals around the mouth you would have nailed it ;). |

you didnt go wrong...i think its a great image,shows that you are using your imagination,but remember not everyones taste is the same.
its a bit like coffee some like it sweet while others like it bitter.
