ohhhh, I just got back from my holiday weekend and I couldn't wait to see the results. Judi, I had a lots of fun playing along - thanks for making that happen.
My entry also turned out to be my 3rd highest score, so it's an ego boost for me and a real lick in the pants to keep it going.

Congratulations NikonJeb! It's good to know that someone with a Nikon can be extraordinarily "mediocre" (that's meant as a joke, ok) :)

After returning to Photography and DPC for only a couple of short weeks i never thought I would win such a prestigious award such as this so quickly ;P
It was great fun and thanks to all who participated and special thanks to Judi for all her time and effort!
Congratulations also to Nikonjeb on winning looks like its a clean sweep to nikon once more ;P

Wish I would have seen this challenge in time...seems I am doomed to mediocrity :) - all my challenge entries have been in the 5 range.

Oops! Judi just kicked me in the.......shin, that's it, shin, and reminded me I'm supposed to pick a punishment.
I haven't a thought.....and according to this, I shouldn't spell it out here anyway.

I just had an idea!

Everyone has to send me an idea!
Soooo....PM me ideas, I'll pick, or think of, my top three and PM the ORGANISER and we'll be off!
Anyway, I'm going to participate, but I do have some thoughts on that.
I don't think Bob  Node (Who also must participate) or I NikonJeb should be eligible, and as punishment, Judi *must* participate.....and try for the optimal score.
Does that number change this time?
How about.......5.4321?
What was our split? Above or below mostly????
And someone else has to do the math for Judi at the end when it's results time!

NikonJeb I just PM'ed you with my rulings on this. Quick...people are waiting.
As for your chosen score for the next challenge....that will be for the Candy challenge. So members...keep a look out for that thread around rollover for voting for 'Candy'...and we will go with Jeb's nominated score to aim for.
I will inform you all through this thread once I have received and sent out PM's to you all...just to make sure you all get it. I will need confirmation in this thread that you have all received your PM and that you understand the conditions.

"Remember...this information must be kept to your self as I do not want people discussing other members entries before or during voting. Some members may not be entering the 'Candy' challenge...so therefore any discussions of the items may trigger some negative reactions towards entries with these items in the other challenges.
Please PM me once you have received my PM. I will then mark your name off the list.
Once everyones punishment entries have completed voting, I will display them in the 'Boring, Mediocre' thread for everyone to have a good laugh with."
Node....please ensure you read the extra text as your punishment is a little different to the others.
I will put a score through your name below once I have received each of your PM's.

No point. (I could check it on my shoe phone, but that costs to connect). I'll get it when I get home.... and see if my camera's still working. I was going to blow off some dust but the mirror kept flapping up and down - I just hope it was due to low battery power. Battery will be fully charged by now, though. |
