Can anyone recommend a company that prints your photos as postcards? It would be awesome if you could also add text to the back.

The one "do it yourself" solution I found so far is this one:

Thanks a lot!

If you dont need a lot of post cards the Canon Selphy printers are great, fast and cheep...

I bought the Canon Selphy CP720 and the prints are lab quality, water and figerprint resistant and the back is pre printed like a postcard :)

Vistaprint.com

Occasionally they run specials on them where you can get an order of 100 for free.

Thanks for the recommendations! The Selphy printer looks small and handy, but since I'm moving from one country to the next every few months, I'd like to keep my possessions to a minimum. ;)

Vistaprint: 25 cents or less per postcard is ok, but you'd have to order at least 100 (and I guess 100 of the same, they seem to focus on use for marketing), which is a bit more than I need.

Thank you very much anyways. I'll keep looking. And if any one else has an idea: please let me know.

You could always order 100 at 25 cents each and see if a local shop wanted to buy some of your spare at 50 cents a piece.

You won't become rich but it will cover your costs and use up the spare shots.

Free plus shipping ... usually about $6 or so. I've gotten good results from them on a few business card orders.

I just did a run of 500 for my exhibition and they look fantastic. Must remember to thank idnic for the recommendation last year when we were doing the big postcard exchange after the Postcard challenge.

I have used Vista too and they give a great product, it normally works out at $9.98 for the customized two sides and when they run their 100 free package it is only for when you use their designs. So with shipping, 100 normally costs in the region of $15 which is about 15 cents each.

The only problem I have had with Vista is that they run a Rewards scheme where you can purchase from various outlets for discounted prices but the membership costs $14,98 a month and i did not sign up for it but they started deducting the membership from my account. It was incredibly hard to find a number to contact to cancel this. I have also since heard from a few of my British friends that they have had the same thing happen and even after cancelling it they have started charging their accounts again. So if you havent checked your account do so because there is a good chance it is happening to you too. The coding they use on the credit card statement information is very similar to what they use for your normal purchases so it could easily slip by un-noticed if you use them regularly.

Hope this makes sense LOL, basically be careful and check that they arent scamming you. I like their products and have also had free rubber stamps done which are great.
