I had a look at his website. It's simply amazing.

He uses some very custom designed equipment too to capture insect with such clarity. It's very ispiring.

Is it just me, or does this look like a stuffed cat? The lightsource reflected in the eyeballs gives it away, there's a flash on either side of the animal.


There's some stuff that's quite clearly not staged. But this one is just too convenient.

I wish I could pull something like this off:

I mean, how do you set up for something like that?

I don't know if it is staged. Since when stuffed cats have saliva around their tongues? :-))) But you never know.

Yes, I was just about to mention that. I love the wake the bird leaves in the water. Did you read the details on it? Two weeks to set it up to get 1/25,000 second of time captured.
