Kat screams in and screeches to a halt in front of the bar..."Hi, guys!" Beer for me please! And for whomever is here at the moment!

Besides spending 30 minutes at the Toyota dealership for 10,000 mile maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) to find out one of the tires had a nail stuck in it. Then having to drive to another part of the dealership to wait hour and 15 minutes for the tire to get patched.
I'm sleepy. Turning in. :) |

I'm getting discouraged. I don't know how many times, in thread, I've seen people told that if they want comments on their shots to not expect them in challenges, but to post a thread asking. I do, and I get less looks than if I just put pics up without a word, and forget comments.
Then again, maybe I can learn something from that; that they're not worth looking at! |

Thanks, Ken :) I've been so stressed lately that I'm soooo tempted to actually get blind, stinking drunk. Alone. |

No. Fly down here. It's a holiday weekend in the US. Get "blind, stinking drunk." Unalone. |

It is here too. Sighhh, that's SUCH a tempting offer, wish I could take you up on it! I won't get drunk alone here though, mainly because I never get to BE alone, which is one of my stress factors.
Ah well, guess I'll just go to the fair, eat too much cotton candy, waste too much money on unwinable games, and take too many bad shots of ferris wheels :D
But watch out, some day I might just show up on your doorstep! |

Yeah, 55 seems like a long time. I don't think the mind is going yet, but how can I be sure if I am not always remembering what I am supposed to be remembering!
I think I'll have another beer! |

No. No. No. Practice the candids! Get the expressions people who are REALLY enthralled in the games and rides.

Heh heh, hubby gets really uptight when I take candids, especially of parents and kids. He keeps saying, you can't do that! I say, can so!
Beck and I had fun shooting downtown last night, with all the young people heading to/between clubs, even had some tell us to take their picture while they hammed :D Helped one guy convince his buddy that Hush, while not technically a gay bar, is known as friendly to gays.
He said, "then I won't have much luck scoring with the ladies there?"
He was so cute we told him he wouldn't have ANY trouble scoring, just might not be with ladies. The light was poor, but I think he blushed... |

No kidding! At the fair yesterday a couple security guards were "talking with" some teens, so Beck and I stopped to watch and I took a couple shots. The kids looked terrified, and I believe it was something to do with the herbal cigarette one kid had (definitely NOT pot)and was made to put out. We just wanted security to know that someone was watching, but hubby was all worried.
In the end, kids and security each went their way, but we weren't about to let the big, bad guys bully kids who probably don't know their rights, despite hubby! |

I don't plan on going in that hot tub for awhile. Right now I'm sipping suds and watching the US Open. |
