anyone else noticing a troll giving out commentless 1s? I just dropped by 0.21 with vote #27...
and the image definitely doesn't deserve it.

It wasn't me, I never give out anything lower then a 4. But yeah, my photo just took a serious dive at vote 21.

Well, I've doubled my score, since i started with a 2. and it keeps going up, so if I keep going at this rate, I should end with a nice 8 or 9 avg!! Okay...Im just hoping to get it above a 5. |

Well, I just scored a bunch and I've come to the conclusion that Expert Editing is the death of good taste. I'm seeing good shots made tacky and average shots made ridiculous.
Otherwise some very strong work in this challenge. |

Why does it matter "who's" work he said that to? It's their opinion on the photo, not the photographer. |

| I can tell you right now I didn't do any expert editing. I am barely Advanced. So I guess I should be happy I am hanging in at a high 5 to low 6. |

You know, I think this is a problem for a lot of people (not all) in voting in a challenge that we, ourselves are entered in! I've stopped voting in challenges that I'm entered in. Not because I intentionally set out to lower or raise anyone's scores, but because I don't feel that I can honestly tell myself that I'm being "unbiased" in voting. I'd hate to bring anyone's score down from a subconscious "tick-off" at my own score. And, let's face it, when our own scores are doing well, or better than expected, we MIGHT tend to want to see them up there and be a little more critical of others' work on a subconscious basis. *grin*
While I feel that most of us in here, FEEL that we can be unbiased in voting on shots in a challenge that we are entered into, isn't it a bit like a watered down form of "buddy voting" to some extent, where "we" are our own "buddy"??? *smile*
