Pretty happy with that at the moment and two favs so early on is unusual for me. Of the two comment someone (a bag-head!) told me they gave me a 1! cheers! I'll return the favour sometime ;)

The usual fall from the beginning. I have handed out some high scores myself so far and will continue to do so to deserving images. This one can drop all it wants. I have made my money from the shoot this one came from and am well on my way to the purchase of the 5D. Rock on DPC.

Because I can? I didn't say I was, I said 'maybe'. Actually, I don't feel my photo is average - that's what I think photos with a score in the '5's' are: nothing but average. But it doesn't matter how my photo finishes - I'm not here to get any ribbons or have high percentage rates. I'm always amused how the 'voters' score photos. Personally, I think they are too harsh and high on their own ego. I prefer to give higher scores and judge photos with no regard as to how my own photo is doing in a particular challenge. And then there's the 'comment' thing which is a whole other story! Anyway, you don't have to worry: in the last 3 challenges you entered, I voted on 2 of them - both 10's.

Mine has been going down a lot too. Started out with a 10 then a few votes later stayed in the 9's, then 8's, then 7's, and now

Mine have typically started low, then gradually raised... This one came out of the chute HOT and then a series of 4s...
Was nice seeing the 8.x and 7.x average for a time.
