More quick edits:

This image describes graphically how I felt when Brad finally parked the Bug and I could escape the potholes:

This one PROVES Brad doesn't do candids; here's one of his models applying makeup before the shoot:

Another depiction of differing approaches to things: Brad sees a submarine, *I* see an anachronism (kinda like a Bug in the 21st century):

And this is Brad himself, in his stained and rumpled glory:

Oh, yeah, NO BEARD... That's what it is... He has no beard, bummer bummer.

At least my clippers didn't go on strike.

The saga continues: where Brad does babes, I do mature figures:

And here's some people watching Brad do babes:

They didn't know what to think, but at least they were safe up there.

Well, the real shame here is that your "mature figure" (haha - love your play on words there) was depressed because you couldn't face her, or you were too chicken to try and sneak in a candid. I managed though:

(she was kinda' flaky huh)

Yeah, if you like getting bedsores from a buggy seat and don't mind being stared at wherever you go as this weird individual brazenly pulls off a string of drive-by shootings as we career through the potholes of San Diego's downtown...

He DID find good Mexican food though :-)

I think every DPC'er should make an attempt to spend some time with Bear. And from the sounds of it, with Brad, too. Definitely worth the effort! :-)

Both at the same time would be ideal, actually. Set up some GTG's, charge a fee, and fly me 'n Brad to the locale on the proceeds. We'll keep y'all in stitches.

I thought of that just after I posted - the two of you together is probably worthy of broadcast television. Get Brother Horse in on the deal....

Thanks Bear!! The name suites me much better than the other one! I agree with Deb too! Bear is the ultimate host and the two times I've met up with him I have had a great time! Next time I think I'll have him cook dinner so we can do some evening photography ;) (watch out .. it might be soon .. but under sad circumstances unfortunately)

Ahhh yes, San Diego! Many pleasant hours have I spent in that wonderful town. My first visit was in 1960 when I was a trainee at the Naval Training Center (boot camp). I soon discovered Balboa Park and Coronado Island, then Point Loma and the historic lighthouse. One of my all time favorite cities! Just a short drive North is Scripps Institute in the town of La Jolla, where fascinating creatures meander through numerous tide pools. Coronado Island is the home of a Naval Air Station as well a most picturesque and antiquated Hotel. Definately a "must do" on your life's itinerary!

A little less so if you grew up there :-) I left San Diego for Cape Cod when I retired, and I am very glad to have done so. Now if I could just get Brad to move here...

We could be a TOURIST ATTRACTION. "Dueling Photographers! Shows at 11 and 3."

Cape Cod would NEVER be the same.

11 & 3? 10 & 4 would be better lighting-wise, but I understand, you need your beauty sleep and get up later.
