With all this DNMC flying around...I suggest we do a speed challenge right now.
Challenge title - Does Not Meet Challenge
Challenge description - You MUST include the words 'DOES NOT MEET CHALLENGE' in your image. Examples - Signs, scribble on the blackboard or writing in the sand. Be creative and aim to bring a smile to the viewer. All four words (in whatever form) MUST be visible in the image...failure to do so will result in DQ.
Extra rules - Commentors are NOT allowed to use the terminology 'DNMC' or 'DOES NOT MEET CHALLENGE' in any form in any comment. This will result in your comment being removed.
Aim of the challenge - Intent to show DNMC in the photo but not in the comments.

So wouldn't this be an ongoing, perpetual challenge then? :)

Hahahaha...you lot are funny.
The whole idea is to try and get all the DNMC crap out in the open once and for all and to have some fun with it for a change instead of it bringing people down.

So if we put 'Doesn't Meet Challenge' in the photo would that be OK? :-)
Edit: Someone has to ask the silly question!

Hahahaha..you are funny. Yep...you are too use the words in the image....how you present them is up to your own creativity. You can use a telephone box or a skimpy model...or a baby...or a puppy with a butterfly on its nose. Whatever...as long as the four words are in the image. Failure to do so is against the rules.

That would be DNMC. All four words. No combining words together to make three. But you'd get a 4 for creativity.

They must be clearly visible words. And in English so people on this site can easily recognise them.

I think there would be alot of DNMC in this challenge. |

Yes, I would purposefully leave out NOT, thereby spelling DOES MEET CHALLENGE and being a literal impossibility. =) |

If the challenge is to not meet the challenge and you managed to pull this off wouldn't you be meeting the challenge leading to DNMC I fear that the DNMC DNMC thread that will follow the challenge will blow up the servers.
However count me in. Just because it would be nice to enjoy getting the DNMC's for a change. And I will enjoy reading the argument that will certainly follow.

I like it. But add, "Will be banned from the site for one month if any rules violated." That should lower the number of entries a bit. ;)

just for fun, why not have a sub-rule that has voting reversed. You must vote opposite of normal. yet with the same voting engine, so the brown ribbon winners would be shown on the front page... heh. |

I really thought that over the years we have curbed the "technical trolls" and the DNMC attitude. I have observed, much in line with this thread, that a new wave of DNMC'ers is popping up.
It had been said in the past, much more eloquently than I could say it, that really one should not judge what meets the challenge or not,
because the person who took the picture could be smarter than you.
One more time, think outside the box people , because,
the person who took the picture could be smarter and more creative(gasp!-no!!!!) than you. |
