I can hold my own in PhotoShop, but I have never added text to my photos. With the new challenge, I think many would be interested in good ways to do this, tips and tricks, etc. Post your text advice here, and thanks in advance. |

Isn't there a tutorial on adding text in the Tutorials section here on DPC?
I'm on a plane right now, about to take off, using my Blackjack and (unfortunately) don't have time to provide a link.

You can do lots of cool things with text in the text layer's blending mode (right-click text layer/blending). Play around with bezel and emboss, outer and inner glow, drop shadow, etc to find what you like. You can double-click each effect to bring up the controls for it like lighting effects, color, size, and spacing just to name a few.
