I think I'm getting better at this stuff.

New Site

All hints, tips, proofreading, and whatnot are highly appreciated.

Some of it is still a work in progress, so tell me before I do much more to it :)

Looking good,

But

the images in slideshow go very fast. Personnally I don't like not having control of the images. Will there be a gallery?

This link fails:

//www.brizfoto.com/Brizmoto.html maybe capital 'B'?

Hope this helps, nice images..

//www.brizfoto.com/services.html

Make individual galleries to show your work, just like the services page. Great thumbs, vibrant colors, let the customer go through them and take their time.

Your 'retouch' slideshow (2 pics?) does not progress to the second image.

There is something weird going on with your slideshow, the images jump, flicker and there are white pixels that appear and dissapear. Do you notice that? I will check it on my mac too.

Your chopper images are very nice

How do you get to the chopper shots? And your great commercial work? there is no link to those galleries.

Okay, inside galleries I might make go slower, but I like them moving automatically. I do wish there was a pause in the javascript.

Retouch : Work in progress part, actually the whole service page is :) But yes, thanks for the tip.

Slideshow weirdness: which ones? the front page, or the services page? they use two different scripts. It may be safari, I've not had a chance to test on all browsers, only IE and FF.

Site looks good but on your retouch area with the two pictures, I can't help but wonder if using rollover image would be better than a slide show.

Slideshow weirdness in all galleries.....viewed with IE

Well, I had to make a decision on what to put on the front page. Portraiture is our main focus, but I didn't want to remove commercial, BrizMOTO is going to get it's own website soon, that it a placeholder. There will be totally different business cards pointing to Brizmoto.com.

Obviously, my information architecture is making Jeff twitch.

The Commercial images create a pop-up from the services page.

Scott: yes, I'm updating that section. it's the same as it always was: crappy :) I'll look up something to make a rollover.

Steve,

So your commercial and bikes are going to part of a different site?

You have some great images, just would hate to see anyone not get to see them due to poor navigation. A few tweaks and you'll be alright.

remember to change to the little 'b' on all the pages (services, about, contact)

Okay, now I see the little white pixel thing in IE. I'll have to point it out to the guy I got the code from.

Th ejumping and flickring, not sure on that one. There are some small delays if two of the picture try to load at once, might be fixed by a bit more compression on the jpg's.

okee, changed all the little b's.

Looks like the top menu needs expansion to accommodate more links, which is okay. It's hard to look at all the angles from one spot :) Which is why I asked for a review.

I'll probably have all the sections on one line, under the main logo-thats-not-a-logo instead of beside it. For tonight, I'm done. It's better than my previous version, even with the new problems.

Thanks for the help everyone :-D

On the rollover image. Here is a script example. I just loaded and tested in dreamweaver.

Thanks Scott. I'll have a whack at it. I still need to work up full examples for that, and figure out where I'd like it placed. We're getting into a more layered site design here, I can only put so many links up top before someone says "Too many links" to others "not enough". I guess I've been trying to keep it a bit too clean and tidy, at the expense of navigation ease.

Okay, autoplay on backend galleries is now off. Keeping it going on the frontpage. Nav re-design tomorrow. Must sleep.

Hi all, I added more links to the top menu, thank's for all the suggestions. If anyone has more suggestions, I'd appreciate it.

Is a "protrait" like a really professional portrait, or is that a typo? ;-)

Looks better, I would still suggest having thumbs in your individual galleries with the slideshow being an option. People like control.

Also your contact page needs some tweaking, your new links are stacked instead of spread across your page. Also the contact info, email and phone # in the grey box, are pressed to the left of the frame, would look better if they were a space in.

hmm actually all the non gallery pages are like that.

Hope it helps,
jeff
