My score was barely over 5.5 went I went to bed. What a treat to wake up to a 5.6 and I had four more additional wonderful comments. Yeah!

The happy voters are online today. I went to bed last night with a 6.04 score and am now sitting at 6.17 with a couple more positive comments.

Sigh....I am getting hit by the 'Slaugterhouse' 5 group (pardon the pun but the observation of being hit by 5's would not work quite as well if I said Babylon 5:-) ) I am really confused because the vast majority of the seven comments have positive things to say.
Scratches head...makes note to ask for further feedback in forums after challenge rollover. |

I'm getting 5s on my 6+ shot also !!! However, on my last challenge which ended up in the 6.3 range the comments averaged 8.2 !

What ever happened to all those 7's we had earlier? I'm expecting the 'big scores' are keeping out of the thread..
I'm Still solid at 7.3+ and on song for a new personal best, I'm so excited about getting another 7+ score, my dream has come true to have all profile shots above 7.

Grumble grumble...
The fact that I have a lot to learn is being relentlessly affirmed. I figured that a "technically" decent shot (focus/color/exposure/framing, etc.), even if not all that interesting, would do ok.
If you were judging a shot that is a) in focus, b) has good color balance and saturation, c) is obviously not a snapshot, d) meets the challenge without question, but e) is admittedly boring...is that grounds to score it a 4? Is artistic deficiency just as much a transgression as technical deficiency? |

I had high hopes for a ribbon with this shot, but I can see by the scores that I have no chance. It's still a personal best for me if my score stays where it's at though, so that's good! And one of these days I'm going to score myself a ribbon, just wait! :) |
