gather.com. I just got a email from a person in the Philippines see below. I understand the reason for the broken english. No way I'm going to do it. It smells like a scam. I never heard of this guy before.
i have my account there.. i eraned more than 600 points and i can convert it into cash but i am not from the USA.. this is my last choice,,, i reeally need to pay my tuition fee untilk 3 pm this afternnon... time here is 10:20... i am planning if i can send the cash into u and u send it to me here in philippines.... i really need to pay for my study.. my money is not enough for my fee... i hav no choice.. i did every woek i can coz i am a working student

major scam....run!
Got one similar the other day, but the guy needed someone to convert his cash for charities...he wasn't in the US. (I hit delete so fast I got a blister on my finger!!!)

Even if that was a real person, would you even consider sending him money in the first place?!
Cause if so.....
I start college in 2 weeks from yesterday and I would love to let you pay for it.
