Well i need to get some pics up from the Butterfly thing... it was soo fun i went this week end abd it was greath!!! REALLY HOT!!! but great..... i was thinking Butterfly thin around Noon or late after noon around 2 or 3.... and then we can head to the plaza after or wait till the evening to shoot the Plaza( due to heat).... my friends thing starts at 7pm i think he is last i would like to be there a little early to see if i can let you guys meet him you know take some pics of them setting up and stuff... Im going to PM those who are going my phn# ok... cant wait guys im stoked plus i love shooting concerts!!

Ok... here's the deal.

The CD Release for Dan Cogan is going to be this Saturday at the Main Street Cafe. And everyone has been talking about shooting butterflies. However, the idea of going to Powell Gardens to shoot the butterflies at noon is kinda a bad idea. Powell opens at 9am. I think we should meet up somewhere for breakfast at 8:30am or so and then head over to Powell. The butterflies move slower in the earlier hours of the day, its not as hot at 9 or 10am as it is between noon and 4pm (in KC the hottest time of day is from Noon till 5pm). This will give us an opportunity to get in early, get some great shots without the harsh lighting of the mid-day sun and get out before it gets too late in the day. Not to mention... the mosquitos will be less active at the start of the day.

From there, we could break for lunch and find another location to shoot at.

I was thinking the same thing i just did not know who would want to get up early to shoot.... i have a sitter for that morning so i am game for the early morning meeting up!! only thing is

stare_at_the_sun kinda lives out there a ways... Caleb let me know what is up and if this sounds good....

You have my Vote.... let me know everyone and ill update the post on whats going to happen and what time....

Also for breakfast I know this place that Make the BEST biscuts and Gravey its call " The BIG biscut" there is one in Blue Sprins on 7Hwy ( this one is ok) and on on the corner of Lee Summit Rd and 40 Hwy ( for some reason some place but this location taste better =)

I'd be up for getting up early....it would probably be easiest for me to just meet up with someone and ride along, because I am clueless as far as directions go in KC. Let me know if anyone wouldn't mind having a couple of passengers.

Ok out line for the Day i would say meet like 7:30am or no later than 8:00am for Breakfast at the Big Biscut (if this sounds good )...Be at Powel Gardens by 9am... Shoot butterflies and park and they have a Humming bird Garden as well... they have a new Fountain you can run through,, bring extra cloths if you wan to do this...
Im Kinda Blank for the Mid day i would say go downtown were we can have some places to go inside to for rest and coolness...

I would say Dinner before Show at Bucca di Beppo's at around 4 no later than ,4:30... so we can eat hang out and be at show by 6:30pm....

Show is at 7pm after the we can do some night shot its all up to you guys.. this is just an out line of the day let me know what you guys think.... im just playing by ear...

Alright....so I'm only going to be able to do the first part of the get together (breakfast and the butterflies and lunch if we do that) and I may be able to come hang out again at night if you guys are on the plaza or what not.

One other thing....I lost my battery charger to my 10D, so it looks like I may not be able to take pictures. (lame)

Anyways...I'll be at the Big Biscuit around 7:30 or so unless my alarm doesn't go off :P

I've still got to go minute by minute - it will all depend on if I can get off work. Now, If I do the Beppo thing, cool. If we show up at the main St cafe for the show, how much is it per person? Perhaps anything afer? Westport at night or the river market at night is awesome

Wait.....change of plans again. Sorry dudes and dudettes.

Turns out I will be able to go to dinner with you guys but not breakfast. I don't have a functional camera right now so going to the butterfly thing wouldn't prove too useful anyways, aside from seeing some pretty little creatures. I'll just give you a call tomorrow afternoon and come eat some Italian with you guys.

Hopefully the next get together we have I'll be available all day and I'll have a camera. mhmmm.

Believe me I am going to try to get some time free. I should know more tonight about my schedule. I am in my last two weeks of school then I go right into clinicals so I have been very tied up with finals. The stress has been killing me. I have a new phone # I will PM you guys.
