| I second and third all the comments about entering a FS image with basic editing into an expert challenge. Once I entered one that was straight from camera, and it did fine. I've found the voters tend to vote on the merit of the photo, regardless of editing. |

Okay, thanks all, that's just the push I needed, though in starting to edit, it has some technical flaws that have come out, so I'll look through my August pics again to see whether anything else works better for me (or whether anything I get before month's end does, I suppose).
Whatever I enter, I'm pretty sure it won't be expertly edited, though ;)

| I know I shouldn't be watching scores, especially since I tend to be on the wrong side of a 5, but my urban landscape just peeked above 6.9. It might be a long time before I see such numbers next to one of my pictures, maybe I should enjoy it while it lasts. |

I was alternately happy for you, then bummed that you were kicking my @$$ in the challenge.
Then I remembered that you're in Urban, and I'm in Rural!
So......I'm rootin' my @$$ off for your score so you get the Momentary Lapse of Sucking award and I can suck up a PB with no penalty!
Am I scum or what? LOL!!!

And congrats on the good scores going. Congrats also on the not-so-good scores going on pics people like. I'm pleased to report that a few actually like my not-so-good scoring urban shot. One even said it was his favorite of the challenge so far! |

My landscape has 17 comments on it, but I think it's heading for DQ-ville as it's been in "pending" for the last two days.
This means I can't lose though, because it's already got loads of feedback (good or bad I don't know cos I've not read it) and if it gets a DQ then I get even more views from DQ-fame.

Jeb, of course, this doesn't work because RobM has put in place a new "high score per challenge" award, and that person has to . . . well, I'm not sure I ever saw for sure what that person needs to do. You're likely to be high scorer for rural landscape (beating my 6.3 but good), and so then you'll have to . . . ????
So I'll happily take a new personal best if mine stays up at 6.3, and just watch whatever you have to do when you beat me :P

Ha! Well, are we going to have each challenge "winner" leave comments for the rest of the entries in that challenge? The sheer size of Team Suck entries in a week's worth of challenges can be overwhelming.

Rob M - I think I'm almost as excited for you as you are, but I shall refrain from wetting myself. :-)
Rob H - yeah, the overall "loser" (high score) of each challenge ought to comment on fellow team sucker entries in that particular challenge. Not sure what the weekly "loser" has to do. One idea might be to assist one or two other suckers with entries that didn't do as well, in detail if possible. Not sure how this would work, though, and would depend on other team suckers offering up the photo, rather than picking one. Just a thought. |

| Wow, someone picked my 4.87 Free Study as a favorite. That makes my day. Still no comments on it. Below 5, favorite, and no comments is a pretty good achievement. |
