I can't even get through a full challenge for voting these days - how in the world can someone vote 8 times?? From Louisiana, where they vote early and often? :-)

IMO, it's odd that someone's going to make the effort with 8 accounts. What's the point? I think you'd need at least 500 accounts, depending on the number of entries in the challenge, and the shittiness of your entry.

The next time I hear about a multiple account scandal, I hope it's at least 300 accounts, and manages to get a crappy photo into the ribbons. Then the owner of the shitty photo can do whatever is so important with that ribbon. Maybe some trash-talking or something.

I spent $25 on an account for my wife, and now she's lost interest. She does like getting the ribbon winners by email, though.

theres a local shop here on the beach that takes a real crappy polaroid snapshot of all the people CAUGHT stealing ..its hilarious!!! its not a bad idea,we should start posting these people somewhere, if for no other reason than to warn the next guy.

I envisioned DPC Comics style, Hey that idea could be a interesting Challenge. Maybe do DC comic heroes in photograph style.

On the serious side, for the ones caught, I hope all of their cameras or cars fall to the bottom of Lock Ness.

I have it from a reliable source that the original tipoff came from one of us...a member. Something looked fishy to him and he reported it.

It's nice to know that it isn't just SC that cares enough about the site to keep the integrity intact.

That'd be me. I went crazy and reported EVERY entrant in that challenge as a suspected multiple personality, figuring some of the mud would stick.

Kind of like my uncle, now sadly departed: he was an ex-marine, and every day when he came home from work he'd line up his three kids and smack each of them on the ass.

"But why, daddy, WHY? What did I do?"

"I don't know, but YOU do!"

I just came down with, get this, SHINGLES yesterday. Stress of mother's illness has brought it on they think. The inflammation was killing me. They gave me Valtrex to treat outbreak, and (gawd bless 'em) some Oxycodone. So sauce, no; trippy, si senor.

I've just looked at my score and seen the recalculataion (duh - Mr Speedy).

Have the recalculations finished now ? Cos if it's not too much trouble I would really appreciate another x.01xx on my score : )

My average seems to still incorporate the votes that have been removed from the actual entry

I haven't noticed my average change either unless it was at decimal places that are not shown on the profile page.

My score hasn't changed. My attitude hasn't changed. But I did get a good parenting tip from bear's late uncle, so I have profited from this latest debacle in some small way.

I̢۪m glad that they think they have the culprit. I was questioned by Langdon himself as my entry seemed to get the brunt of the positive votes, for whatever reason. I do have to say that the manner in which I was asked was almost enough to get me to voluntarily close my account; rompy tried to talk me out of it. At this point I̢۪ve pretty much wiped out my profile and am still considering jumping ship.
