For some reason I was just reflecting on some great baseball moments. Who can recall who the pitcher was who had a much younger player rush him on the mound? What looked to be a bad thing for the pitcher turned around when he quickly got the guy in a headlock and began wailing on him? That wasn't Nolan Ryan was it? I remember the guy was pretty "old" for baseball.

I'd love to try to find a clip somewhere for a good chuckle. Who can help me?

Yes it was Nolan Ryan and I believe the yonger guy was Wally Joiner for the Angels.

If I remember well, it was Nolan Ryan on the mound and Robin Ventura of the White Sox charging him

Actually -- I just Googled it...I was right.

Heh, thanks guys. Wish the clip was better, but what can you do? Great moment in senior-shows-up-junior history.

I like how he says he didn't mean to hit the catcher with the bat. As if that changes anything.

That Jose Offerman story was great. Sucker just ended his career trying to kill the pitcher.
