The Suburban Journals of St. Charles and Warren counties is looking for a full-time, paid photojournalism intern beginning Oct. 1 and ending Jan. 31.
This person, based in our Warrenton office, will create news and sports images for the Warrenton and Wentzville Journals.
The right candidate will be able to juggle daily shoots with in-depth projects.
Experience shooting for a college newspaper is a must; some experience at a professional weekly or daily preferred. We will consider both undergraduate and graduate candidates.
This is a great opportunity for journalism students or recent graduates looking to build their portfolio while also gaining professional work experience. Pay is competitive with similar paid internships. The Suburban Journals of Greater St. Louis LLC delivers more than 1 million newspapers regionally each week, has 33 local editions and is the largest chain of free distribution community newspapers in North America. The Suburban Journals of St. Charles and Warren counties publishes the St. Charles, St. Peters and OĆ¢Fallon Journals three times a week, the Wentzville Journal twice a week and the Warrenton Journal once a week. We update our Web sites daily.
