i was planning on getting the mark I but was wondering what lens's i could, and couldnt put on it because ive heard that you can not mount a certain few lens made by canon but dont know for sure. thanxs

Any EF mount lens, although some of the 'digital only' lenses will vignette, due to the smaller image circle that they will project.

Not EF-s lenses.

That's about it, I think.
