hello everyone!

i did some more bridals last night, this time in a church setting with some hotlights. i'm VERY new to controlled lighting, and especially posing. i tried a few of the suggestions here:

//www.dpchallenge.com/forum.php?action=read&FORUM_THREAD_ID=652911

but the model really just pulled away on a few of the poses, and did her own thing, not meaning that negatively, but i could tell she was uncomfortable with some of them.

i am greatly open to suggestions and critiques. i really am here to learn as much as possible, and would love some more insite, everyone has always been so kind / straightforward and that's what i'm after.

thanks so much, and i hope you enjoy.

thanks all, i will get some strobes at a later time no doubt, but for now i'm studying with hot lights to get the idea of shadows and such, plus $$$$ :)

again, thanks for the kind words, i greatly appreciate it

anyone have any good resources for posing? both for regular models and plus sized / bridals...pretty much anything to do with posing , that's where i need to work the most i think

thanks so much

I understand what you mean about posing. I think my natural shyness gets in the way when I work with people. The best work I've done was with kids, because I could get a parent or assistant to distract them. I don't think you can really do that with a bride. It might be a bit awkward to hand a bottle of bubble stuff to the bride's mom, and tell her to start blowing bubbles at the bride.

But now that I'm thinking of it, it *might* work after all!
