i'd say yes. but you might also wanna cater for a certain group that feels that kid's toy must be something like this:

I probably shouldn't say this, but since I won't be doing it...

If you get the right angle they would be awesome for Upside Down! LOL

Do you mean like my June Free study entry?

I sometimes get the idea that SC looks at my recent photos and picks the next theme based on what I just shot. I took the photo below (which didn't do so well) and the challenge immediately after was Puzzle Macro (where I probably would have done great. D'oh.

Not quite. I was thinking of shooting up from the ground while a kid was swinging - and then you could orient it so the kid's head was on the right side, lol. This obviously wouldn't work here - since the background would be mostly sky. But I bet someone here could shoehorn it, lol.

I know exactly what I am going to shoot. I tried it for the last Children's Toy challenge and it didn't work out right. Hopefully it will this time!

I'm kinda pleased with my shot...I hope it'll show in the votes :-)

Same here, though I may just change it tonight.... kinda thought of a better angle...

I had a shot in mind that I wanted involving an old doll of mine. So, I got all the stuff I needed together, put the doll in my car, and forgot my camera at home! D'oh!

I've been getting up early to drive my son to work, and I'm so tired that I don't know whether I'm coming or going.

How about a kid on a bouncy castle? what do you think everybody? does that count, will it get voted bad because the subject is a kid on a toy rather then just a toy?

if you had a kid with a BB gun popping the bouncy castle i think it would work ;}

I'm feeling good about my shot, real good. I have a feeling it's gonna be much better received than Plastic Porn was.

Edit: to be legal in Alabama

Feeling food ??

Isn't there some law about that ?
08/07/2007 06:31:25 PM · #17
I entered, honestly though just for fun, I do NOT expect this shot to do well AT ALL but I thought it was funny so I stuck it in... God help me!

Good luck everyone, see you in the morning with a score update.

Is it ironic that I discovered the sharpening style I used for this while doing the 30 day sharpless challenge?

I am so mad at myself for leaving my camera at home! I would have owned this challenge! ;-)

No chance I've got it locked.

I have three children so there's certainly no shortage of toys here. I think my shot is kinda cool but I have a strange feeling I'm gonna get ripped to shreads by voters and commenters.
08/07/2007 08:19:21 PM · #23
I have a photo that I love, which means the voter and commenters will just not "get it". Good thing I shoot for myself and not the voters!

I kind of wonder about this in my idea too but I think having a kid in it will help some...I just wish I could selective desaturate, it looks much better that way. Oh well it's all in fun and learning anyway.
