Swimsuit photography doesn't quite fit in the fashion photography section, nor the nude. Neither does all Boudoir. Why are these two missing from the extensive list of styles?

Post a few dozen examples. Let us think this one over for a bit as we ponder the shots. |

I have no objection to your proposed swimsuit and/or boudoir gallery sections but I'm unsure of the "need."
If it's not about the "fashion" then isn't it about the person and so fitting for the "portrait" gallery? If it's neither "fashion" nor "portrait" then maybe it's about the setting (landscape, seascape, etc.)?
However, that said, there are so many fine distinctions within the galleries...why not? |

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue
Victoria's Secret Catalog
Frederick's of Hollywood catalog
Just not sure those fit into the Portraits section so well with pics of someone's grandchild.
Fashion photography is a completely different beast than swimsuit and boudoir.

The more I think about it the more I agree. Even though Victoria's Secrets and Fredericks are selling "fashion" the style of photography is different enough from the other categories DPC has for people. (Sports Illustrated Swimsuits is just selling magazines...in a sort of 'soft porn' way.)
DPC does have:
candid
self-portrait
children
nude
family
portrait
fashion
wedding
...all of which can be paired with other categories...
(for example, Self-portrait and Abstract)
It seems reasonable to be able to have Boudoir/Fashion. Still not sure about "swimsuit" but, hey, if it's its own genre...
Edit to add: Maybe it's getting to the point that the menu for categories should list "people" with sub-categories?
