Skateboarding at the X-Games

I'd give him a '9.8' for form.

I saw that the other day and couldn't believe it. His shoes even bust off! Ya, good form, but gets a big deduction for his dismount.

omg the guy is just laughing after the clip, and the chick is like, "what the hell?" It's funny to see their different reactions, good clip.

Yeah, hella huge air on that one. I heard he fell like forty feet. He's lucky to "walk" away after a fall like that.

Didja see his shoes fly right clean off his feet?

It's all over youtube - I stopped scrolling on the search results after about 15 copies of it. Here's one that's smoother than the first post:

SO, they say that they have the best and most qualified medical personnel, but they allow a witnessed fall of 50ft and obvious loss of consciousness person to get up, move, and walk. He should have been put in a C-collar and put on a hardboard and taken to the hospital.

He did go to the hospital after. . "I guess I've got a fracture in one of my vertebras, but it's pretty minor supposedly, so I came out all right."

He also sustained bruises to his liver and lung, and a mild concussion. The liver injury is what's keeping him under watch at California Hospital Medical Center in downtown Los Angeles.

"I'm going to check out today," said the Carlsbad athlete, whose wrist injury is a small bone fracture. "I'm just waiting on an X-ray, and they want to make sure my liver's not still bleeding. I just want to get out of here, dude."

Lucky that fractured vertebrae was not in his neck, letting him up and walk like that....DEAD or paaralyzed.
