She also moved from P&S to DSLR. When I made that move I went from Nikon to Canon!

| ok in all fairness... my canon powershot is my "going out" camera i guess... just for memories... im not going to take an slr camera to the club haha.. i had a nikon d50 before.. but my ex took it back from me... so im kinda just upgrading... :) |

| I'm sure you'll enjoy it. You should also look into getting a 50mm f/1.8, cheap but sharp and fast. |

Great decision! it is a fantastic camera and you chose some neice glass to go with it too. ENJOY IT!
