I am selling my Canon S3 my laptop and my iPod on eBay... I am going to get a desktop and an SLR. I am trying to make my mind between Pentax and Canon. Canon is huge, but I have an experience with Pentax SLR and it was very satisfying. I have to think about budget too. Nikon cameras are pretty good as well.

If you can give me some ideas about what kind of SLR (Body only, i am going to buy the lens separately) should I purchase within the range of 400 and 500 bucks that would be great.

You can probably find a Pentax K100D at a great price now that the K100D Super has replaced it (not that the Super costs alot anyways... 400 vs 600 bucks to add dust reduction and support for in lens AF)

It will depend on how am I going to do with this new camera. My best pictures so far came out from another Canon (S3...previous one), and I am pretty sure this one will get me a ribbon (a real one). we'll see ;)

Do you already have the 350D that's in your profile?

I LOVE my new Canon Digital Rebel XT !!! It is an AWSOME machine, the best I ever owned so far. I feel like a kid in a toy store :D

Too much to learn on the machine, a bit more stuff on it than Pentax I had last year.

Now, I think I can get my ribbon :D Hey, look at this, 4 pages full of ribbons, there is more space for me to put my photo with a ribbon too :)

Rebel XT Gallery

Oh boy... joy joy joy :D
