I can't seem to get a straight answer on this one!

I want to know if it's possible to get feedback/ideas from fellow DPC'ers on my challenge entries before I submit them? - And if so, which is the best forum section to post these requests?

I would find this sort of input very valuable, as I don't have anybody in 'real life' to really get a proper critique from before I submit the shot. It'd be great to get feedback from other photographers, especially if it'd help me improve my shot and my score.

It is considered very bad etiquette to post a shot that you are considering entering in a challenge to allow people to view it and comment publicly. Much better is to make the shot available in your workshop (and thus hidden from public view) and PM the link to a few trusted DPC friends for their C&C. I've done this a few times myself.

I didnt think that even with providing a link that anyone but you could see images in your workshop.

Ah. Let me just pull up my list of trusted DPC friends then. :)

Okay, thanks for that. I really just wasn't sure what was acceptable or not in that area.

They can see the images with a direct link, but not by browsing the site/your portfolio.
